Partner Program
Tell embroiderers about PiperStitch.
Earn 30% of what they pay, for two years.
If people already ask you which software to use, this is for you. Every person who subscribes through your link or code earns you 30% of every invoice — PiperStitch and Proofs alike — for 24 months, plus a $15 signup bounty in your first 120 days. Your audience gets a 30-day free trial and 10 proofs instead of the usual 14 days and three.
Founding partners — the first 50 — keep the 30% rate. After that, open enrolment is 25%.
30% of every invoice
Not a one-off. Each referral pays you every month they stay, for 24 months from their first payment. At $24 a month that’s $7.20 a month per person — $14.40 if they add Proofs. Computed from the actual invoice, so an upgrade pays you more and a price change never pays you less.
$15 per signup, first 120 days
Every referral who makes a first payment inside your first 120 days also earns a $15 bounty. No cap. After the window, the bounty comes back permanently once 25 of your referrals are active subscribers — and it never lapses again.
30 days and 10 proofs, free
Your link gives them more product, not a discount: a 30-day trial instead of 14, and 10 proofs instead of three. Nothing to install, no card to enter. And the code works spoken out loud on a Live, where nothing is clickable.
What it adds up to
Move the sliders. It’s just arithmetic.
Say how many people you think you’d refer each month, and how many of those would add Proofs. The numbers below assume each referral stays the full two years — some won’t, so treat it as the ceiling, not a promise. Nothing here is an income claim; it’s the program’s math.
Assumes every referral stays subscribed and the first-120-day bounty on the first four months of signups. Real numbers will be lower.
How it works
Four steps, and none of them is a form.
Apply below.
Tell us about your audience. We read every application ourselves and answer within a few days.
Get your link and code.
Approval brings a welcome email with piperstitch.com/r/YOURCODE, a spoken code for Lives and classes, a QR code for print, and the creative kit.
Share it, with the disclosure.
Video, Live, group, newsletter, class handout — wherever you already talk about tools. “I get a commission if you subscribe through my link” goes next to it every time; the kit has the exact wording.
Watch it in the portal.
Clicks, signups, who’s in month what of 24, what’s payable, monthly statements. Paid by PayPal on the last day of each month for the month before, from $50.
The fine print, in plain words
What we’ll hold you to, and what we hold ourselves to.
- The clock starts at first payment, not at signup, and runs 24 months. A referral who cancels and comes back resumes inside the same window; it never restarts.
- A typed code beats a link. Someone who clicked your link gets 90 days for it to count; someone who types a code is attributed to that code, whoever’s link they clicked. One partner per customer, settled at first payment.
- Refunds and chargebacks reverse the matching commission. A cancellation or refund within 60 days of first payment also reverses that referral’s $15 bounty. Commission becomes payable 60 days after the invoice for the same reason.
- Your rate is yours. It’s written on your account at approval and only changes if we agree it with you. Changing the program later never changes existing partners.
- Disclosure is required, not optional. The FTC holds us responsible for what our partners say. “Affiliate link” on its own isn’t enough; the kit lists what is. No income claims, no “perfect every time”, no comparisons by name to other software.
- You never see who signed up. The portal shows dates, statuses and amounts — not names or emails. That’s a promise we make to your audience in our privacy policy.
- You’re an independent contractor. We need a W-9 (US) or W-8BEN before the first payout, and we issue a 1099-NEC to US partners paid $600 or more in a year.

A few sentences is plenty: who follows you, roughly how many, and where. We’re looking for people embroiderers already trust — size matters less than that.
Questions
The ones partners ask first.
Do I need to be a PiperStitch subscriber?
You need to have used it — partners only talk about what they’ve tried, and your audience will know the difference. The free trial is enough to start; most partners end up subscribing because they’re using it on real orders.
Can I get more than one code?
Yes. Many partners keep one code per channel — KATHLEEN-YT and KATHLEEN-FB, say — so the portal shows which one converts. Reply to any of our emails and we’ll add it.
Does the 30% apply to Proofs too?
Yes — to every invoice the referred customer pays, on both the PiperStitch subscription and the Proofs add-on, computed from the actual amount. It’s a share of what they pay, before payment-processing fees, with no footnote.
When and how am I paid?
By PayPal, on the last day of each month, for everything that became payable in the month before. Commission becomes payable 60 days after the invoice it comes from (the refund window). Balances under $50 roll over to the next month. We need your W-9 or W-8BEN on file first.
What if someone I referred cancels?
You keep everything already earned, except where the invoice itself is refunded or charged back. If they cancel or refund within 60 days of their first payment, the $15 bounty for that person is reversed. If they come back later, commission resumes inside the original 24-month window.
What can’t I say?
Anything you haven’t seen yourself; “perfect every time” or “never needs editing”; that it replaces a professional digitizer; comparisons by name to other digitizing software; any income claim for your viewers; and calling it AI (it’s rules-based, which is why the same artwork gives the same file every time). The portal has the full list, with what you can say.
Fifty founding seats. Then the rate drops to 25%.
If your audience already asks you what to use, apply now and keep the 30% for as long as you’re a partner.
